The SAWDC Board of Directors are pleased to announce that Bridget Wilson has been appointed as executive director effective April 1.
In this position, she will continue to lead, collaborate and build upon the partnerships with business and industry and our secondary and post-secondary institutions to continue to support and create continuous workforce pipelines to meet the demands within Southwest Alabama.
“Bridget’s enthusiasm, leadership, and extensive workforce development experience will enhance the foundation of SAWDC and benefit the economic and workforce growth for our nine-county region of Southwest Alabama,” shares Jill Stork, Chairman of the Board.
“I look forward to working closely with our education and industry partners to further build upon the established programs as well as create new opportunities to sustain a skilled workforce pipeline to meet the growing demands of our growing region,” said Wilson.
